Grain Valley came tearing into Thursday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the North Kansas City Hornets. Considering the Eagles have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Grain Valley's victory bumped their record up to 27-6. As for North Kansas City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Grain Valley will take on Blue Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. North Kansas City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
