This season hasn't been kind to the Galeton Tigers, who are still winless after their tenth match. They took a serious blow against Coudersport on Thursday, falling 51-10. Galeton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-10.
When it comes to explaining why Galeton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Addison Reigle. Despite the final result, she scored six points. Reigle scored a full 60% of Galeton's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Galeton's loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Coudersport, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Galeton will head out on the road to face off against Port Allegany at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Port Allegany presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Galeton in Pennsylvania (Port Allegany is ranked 275th, while Galeton is ranked 671st). As for Coudersport, they will be playing at home against Otto-Eldred at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Otto-Eldred will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
