MMI Preparatory School came into Thursday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Hanover Area by a score of 47-38 on Thursday. The win was just what MMI Preparatory School needed coming off of a 52-23 defeat in their prior matchup.
Bria Kringe continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 37 points and nine rebounds. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of MMI Preparatory School's points. Cassidy Mcdermott was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 14 rebounds and two blocks.
MMI Preparatory School's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Hanover Area, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.
MMI Preparatory School will square off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake-Lehman presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the in Pennsylvania (the Knights are ranked 268th, while the are ranked 615th). As for Hanover Area, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Rangers at 2:15 p.m.
