Sleepy Eye had a rough outing against Adrian last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Sleepy Eye had enough points to win and then some against Wabasso on Friday, taking their contest 27-7. Wabasso can consider this payback for the 12-63 loss they dealt Sleepy Eye the last time the teams encountered one another.
The victory bumped Sleepy Eye's record up to 2-3. The defeat dropped Wabasso's record to 1-4.
Next week Sleepy Eye take on Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 7:00 PM. These teams both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. Wabasso will look to defend their home turf against New Ulm Cathedral at 3:00 PM.
