Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ximena Ramirez, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Gibson, who scored nine points.
Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season. As for Johnson, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
