The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals entered their tilt with the Overfelt Royals with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. Mt. Pleasant walked away with  a   49-39  win over the Royals  on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mt. Pleasant also won the last time the pair played  back in January.
  Snowe DeLeon was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 24 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Mt. Pleasant's points. Another player making a difference was  Tracy Doan, who  scored eight points.
 Mt. Pleasant's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Overfelt, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
 Mt. Pleasant will head out on the road to  square off against  the Bulldogs at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. San Jose is coming into the  matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Overfelt, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the Comets at 7:00  p.m.
