Ramona is 1-9 against Hillcrest since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Ramona Rams will play host again and welcome the Hillcrest Trojans, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Ramona has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 248 points over their last four contests.
Ramona put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Patriot as Ramona made off with a 61-39 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Ramona has posted since December 27, 2023.
Ramona found their leader in underclassman Olivia Molina, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Molina hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Tibbels, who scored 16 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Hillcrest came up short against Norte Vista on Tuesday and fell 36-29.
Ramona has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.
Everything came up roses for Ramona against Hillcrest when the teams last played on January 2nd as the squad secured a 48-11 victory. With Ramona ahead 33-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
