The Trimble County Raiders will head out to square off against the Eminence Warriors at 8:15 p.m. on Monday. Trimble County will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Trimble County and Williamstown have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Raiders skirted past the Demons 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since April 29, 2025.

Nolan Hunt made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Trimble County: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-12 otherwise.
Hunt wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Liam Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Trimble County is 4-2 when Taylor posts two or more stolen bases, but 8-11 otherwise. Davie Poe was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Eminence hadn't done well against Carroll County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Tanner Simpson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Cody Bradbury was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Kendrick Cassity also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Trimble County's record is now 12-13. As for Eminence, their record now sits at 12-7.
Trimble County couldn't quite get it done against Eminence in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 10-5. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
