The Altoona Mountain Lions typically have all the answers at home, but on Monday the Central Dauphin Rams proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 38-33 win over the Mountain Lions. The victory was nothing new for Central Dauphin as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading Central Dauphin to victory were Alexis Ferguson and Olivia Green. Ferguson scored 12 points along with seven rebounds, while Green dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Green is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for four games straight. Lauren Cavoli was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two steals.
Central Dauphin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Altoona, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Carlisle the next time they take the court. Altoona will head out to face Carlisle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Central Dauphin will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
