Severance extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-4-1. Everything went their way against the Berthoud Spartans as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The Silver Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Katie Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up 17 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kenzy Henneke was incredible, going 1-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carly Zentveld, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
