The Carlisle Thundering Herd managed to keep up with the Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Carlisle suffered a tough 58-34 defeat at the hands of Greencastle-Antrim. Carlisle lost against Greencastle-Antrim in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-32 score last time.
Greencastle-Antrim was led to victory by Eva Martin and Haley Noblit. Martin scored 19 points, while Noblit scored 18 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Noblit has scored at least 25% of Greencastle-Antrim's points. Kylie Kerns was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Greencastle-Antrim, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Carlisle will be playing in front of their home fans against Cumberland Valley at 7:15 p.m. on December 14th. Greencastle-Antrim will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Northern York at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
