It was a good run, but Pawhuska unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 7-1 to the Hominy Bucks. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bucks from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Savanna Hendren made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Pawhuska's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Hominy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Pawhuska has already played their next game, a 10-1 defeat against Tecumseh on the 23rd. As for Hominy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Skiatook on the 23rd.
