the Week awards during the 2022-23 school year.
Each week during the season (regular and post),
there will be a fan-generated contest to tab
weekly winners. Each winner receives a letter and
award patch for their varsity jacket.
How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many
times as they want. It's a competition.
This past week, over 125,000 votes were cast. So far
this school year over 4.4-million votes have been cast.

42 points in a 65-35 win over Lowell. Also had 17 points, seven assists
and seven rebounds in a 65-28 win over Hebron. Averaging 22.1 points,
6.1 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 2.2 assists.

BasketballSophomore had 25 points, 13 assists and
five steals in an 83-53 win over Cowan and 17 points, 10 rebounds and
seven assists in a 59-53 win over Lewis Cass. Also had 15 points, 11
rebounds, six assists and six blocks in a 76-55 loss to Maconaquah.
Averaging 16.9 points, 9.1 assists and 7.8 rebounds.

* Jaycianna Clark, Herron (Indianapolis) Girls BasketballJunior had 16 points and 22 rebounds in a 43-27 win over Central Christian Academy and 15 points and 21 rebounds in a 47-42 win over Horizon Christian. Averaging 15.7 rebounds and 12.4 points.
* Jase Howell, Madison-Grant (Fairmount) Boys BasketballSenior hit 12-of-15 3-pointers en route to scoring 42 points in a 90-40 win over Eastbrook. Also had five assists. Averaging 18.3 points, 6.1 assists and 2.7 steals.
