While Corning didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Hillcrest Screamin Eagles on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Corning's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Hillcrest, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Corning will venture away from home to square off against Paragould at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillcrest, they will take on Crowley's Ridge Academy at 9:50 p.m. on Friday.
