The High Tech CV Bruins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gompers Prep Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for High Tech CV in their matchups with Gompers Prep Academy: they've now lost four in a row.

High Tech CV dropped their record down to 1-14-1 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only scored two goals over those seven games. As for Gompers Prep Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season.
High Tech CV is on the road again on Wednesday and plays High Tech SD at 3:30 p.m. on February 7th. High Tech CV's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Gompers Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
