On the hitting side, Gentry MacRory and Quinn MacRory did most of the damage at the plate: Gentry went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Quinn went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Gentry has become a key player for Pocatello: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-6 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Highland made easy work of Rigby on Tuesday and carried off a 15-1 win.
Nash Randall looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cannon Eddie, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Andrew Scott, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Pocatello, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pocatello has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Highland struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Pocatello suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Highland in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Thunder have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
