As for Encinal, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games.
On Encinal's side, they got a great performance from Sebastian Brune as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Brune has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Miles Acevedo was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Dominic Dollar also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
