The Point Loma Pointers will head out on the road to take on the Patrick Henry Patriots at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Point Loma focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
Last Friday, Point Loma strolled past the Hornets with points to spare, taking the game 45-31. Point Loma pushed the score to 37-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hornets cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Patrick Henry was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 35-30 to the Cavers. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Patrick Henry in their matchups with the Cavers: they've now lost eight in a row.
The victory makes it two in a row for Point Loma and bumps their season record up to 16-9. As for Patrick Henry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
Point Loma came up short against the Patriots in their previous matchup back in January, falling 49-42. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Patrick Henry's Cecelia Parker, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Now that Point Loma knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
