The Segerstrom Jaguars will challenge the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Segerstrom took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Calvary Chapel, sneaking past 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Jonathan Macias, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Segerstrom is undefeated when Macias posts two or more runs, but 2-11 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Wiseburn- Da Vinci never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past Pioneer 11-0. The Wolves not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 23rd (when they won 17-0).
David Holliday made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Holliday was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Lyriq Jordan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Xavier Horton, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Segerstrom's record now sits at 6-11. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
