The Collegium Charter Cougar can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 44-36 victory over Morrisville. Collegium Charter's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Collegium Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kori Beasley, who scored 18 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciani Hamilton, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.
Collegium Charter's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-7. As for Morrisville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Renaissance Academy the next time they take the court. Collegium Charter will host Renaissance Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Morrisville will host them at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
