McFarland extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Malachi Davis. The Cougars came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 25-21 W against the Del Oro Suns thanks in part to Davis, who threw for 222 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, making 11 total tackles, and defending one pass.
