 Charlie Cannon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  triple and one  run. That  triple marked the first that  he  hit this season.
 In other batting news, Coosa let  JJ Warren and  Chason (DJ) Johnson run wild. Warren  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2, while  Johnson  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Warren also put up a  home run, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Sam Peterson, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
Coosa's record now sits at 3-5. As for Therrell,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coosa will head out to  square off against Trion  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Therrell, they are taking a road trip to  challenge South Atlanta  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
