Dougherty won the last time they faced Monroe and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Golden Tornadoes. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

Jayden J Miller made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.4 stolen bases per game.

In other batting news, Marcus Heath was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also brought in two RBI, marking his first of the season. Kameron Knighton was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Dougherty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .614. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monroe only posted an OBP of .345.
