The Stone Ridge Christian Knights's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Sacramento Waldorf Waves at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th.
Last Thursday, Stone Ridge Christian lost to Venture Academy on the road by a decisive 57-40 margin. Stone Ridge Christian has not had much luck with Venture Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cali Cole, who scored 18 points. Tailynn Dungy was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Sacramento Waldorf didn't have too much trouble with Delta at home on Friday as they won 35-21. The win was just what Sacramento Waldorf needed coming off of a 60-25 loss in their prior match.
Stone Ridge Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Sacramento Waldorf, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9.
Stone Ridge Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Sacramento Waldorf in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, winning 56-45. Will Stone Ridge Christian repeat their success, or does Sacramento Waldorf have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
