John Bapst Memorial had lost ten games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-5 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Old Town Coyotes 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since May 20, 2024.
Abe Pendergast made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
