The Rocklin Thunder will take on the Oak Ridge Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Rocklin will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
On Friday, Rocklin got the win against Davis Sr. by a conclusive 12-2. The win continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.

Max Griffith and Roman Castellanos did most of the damage at the plate: Griffith went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Castellanos went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Rocklin is undefeated when Griffith posts two or more runs, but 8-13-1 otherwise. Colby Cobb was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rocklin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Oak Ridge's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Granite Bay on Saturday. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Grizzlies. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted against the Grizzlies since April 15, 2024.
Brody Rodenspiel looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since April 2nd.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Hubbard, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Anthony Jackson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Rocklin's victory bumped their record up to 11-13-1. As for Oak Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.
Rocklin beat Oak Ridge 9-6 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Thunder repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
