The Glendale Adventist Cougars were the 31-30 winner over the Hillcrest Christian Saints when they last played one another back in November of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Glendale Adventist fell 37-26 to Hillcrest Christian on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Glendale Adventist has lost by exactly 11 points.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zoey Flowers, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Ross-Adams, who scored six points along with two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Glendale Adventist and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for Hillcrest Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Glendale Adventist will be playing in front of their home fans against Ojai Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillcrest Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Beacon Hill at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Beacon Hill and Hillcrest Christian are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
