They really took it to Mississippi School for the Deaf for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-26 victory on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-17.
When it comes to explaining why Mississippi School for the Deaf lost, one person who can't be blamed is Christian Carrawell. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Brown, who scored seven points.
The win was the third in a row for Alabama School for the Deaf, bringing their record for this year to 7-16. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39 points. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.
Alabama School for the Deaf's road trip will continue as they head out to face Jacksonville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, Mississippi School for the Deaf and Leake County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Leake County is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
