Independence extended their losing streak  to four  on Friday, dropping their season record down to 13-12 in the process. As for Bakersfield Christian, their win was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-6-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
On Bakersfield Christian's side,  Zach Hall looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Karson Greer was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.  Kadyn Kirkley was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Coming up, Independence will square off against Bakersfield at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Drillers at the right time seeing as the Drillers are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Bakersfield Christian, they will take on Garces Memorial at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season.
