Averroes scored the most  points they've had  this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell  48-41 to the Trinity Prep Crusaders.
 Trinity Prep got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Allie Duncan out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 24  points and 18  rebounds. Duncan is  crushing it when it comes to  boards: she's   pulled down at least 13 every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Avigail McDonald, who  posted 17 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals.
Averroes' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Trinity Prep,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-1.
 Averroes will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Granada Islamic School on January 29th. Trinity Prep has  already played their next  game (against Tournament Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
