Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Craven). They really took it to the Lawrence Academy Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-30 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Craven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jimmie West lll, who posted 19 points. West lll's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Cherry Jr, who scored 15 points.

Despite the loss, Lawrence Academy still got an impressive performance from Nike Wiggins, who had 13 points.

West Craven's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Lawrence Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

West Craven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-42 defeat against Farmville Central on the 4th. As for Lawrence Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 57-51 win against Pungo Christian Academy on the 5th.
