The New Covenant Christian Flames were the 59-35 winner over the Lancaster County Christian Lions when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. New Covenant Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tycen VanDerPloog, who scored ten points along with six assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Colson Hess, who scored ten points.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Covenant Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Harrisburg Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Lancaster County Christian, they will take on Christian School of York at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
