Jefferson had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year.
Tyson Schultz looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 212 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown. Jefferson also got a significant boost from Jonathan Weber, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 107 yards.
Meanwhile, Apple Valley had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their match at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 43-7 victory over Kennedy. Apple Valley's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.
Wiliam Washington had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 212 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per carry.
Jefferson's win was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.6 points per game. As for Apple Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
