Kern Valley extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 15-7 in the process. They blew past the Rosamond Roadrunners 14-2. Considering the Broncs have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Rosamond, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

For Rosamond's part, Shawn Webb put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Webb has allowed since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Webb wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Julian Pope Herdnandez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Kern Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-10 loss against California City on the 13th. As for Rosamond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-1 win against Desert on the 13th.
