Everything went their way against the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders on Friday as the Covenant Classical Warriors made off with a 58-36 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Ian Lejeune was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Knarr, who posted six points in addition to ten boards and four steals.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Zach Montgomery and Davin Fuller. Montgomery had 15 points, while Fuller put up six points along with ten boards and three blocks. Fuller is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Micah Shook was another key player, putting up three points.
