North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Classical defeats Cornerstone Christian Academy

The Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC), 50-36 in Friday's league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Carolina Christian for a CSAA bout on Monday, December 9. Covenant Classical will play a Lions team coming off a 71-29 league loss to Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Cornerstone Christian Academy falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Asheboro Hybrid Academy (Asheboro, NC) to play the Warriors in a CSAA bout on Monday, December 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Asheboro Hybrid Academy won 70-26 in their recent non-league bout against Bradford Academy (Mebane, NC)
