The North Valley Christian Academy Lions had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Mayer, posting a 50-19 win at home. The victory was just what North Valley Christian Academy needed coming off of a 58-28 defeat in their prior contest.
North Valley Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Kalina Santor, who scored 20 points along with nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Santor has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Triniti Terracciano, who scored ten points along with eight steals.
North Valley Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Mayer, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-1 record this season.
North Valley Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against North Phoenix Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mayer, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Music Mountain at 4:30 p.m.
