After a string of three wins, Chadron's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Yutan-Mead Patriots by a score of 7-6.

Jae Gooder was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cali Hendrickson, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Chadron's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Yutan-Mead, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

As of now, neither Chadron nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
