El Paso is 1-9 against Andress since November of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. El Paso put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Canutillo as El Paso made off with a 58-38 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory El Paso has posted against Canutillo since January 8, 2019.
El Paso's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amaris Ambriz, who scored 21 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ambriz has scored at least a third of El Paso's points. Another player making a difference was Natalia Thomas, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Andress' game on Friday was all tied up 12-12 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to Chapin 35-31. Andress has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
El Paso's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Andress, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 12-15.
