Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian School of Griffin). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Young Americans Christian Eagles on Thursday, sneaking past 11-9. This was a revenge game for the LIONS: when they faced off against the Eagles on March 3rd, they had to take a 10-9 defeat.

Cooper Bell was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Bell was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Trinity Christian School of Griffin let Conner Galyon and Logan Eddis run wild. Galyon scored a run and stole three bases while going 3-for-4, while Eddis scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Cameron Morris was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
