Ponderosa put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Union Mine Diamondbacks. Considering the Bruins have won three games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Garrett Snyder made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Tommy Texdahl was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Max Baumgartner also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ponderosa will venture away from home to face off against Woodcreek at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ponderosa is facing Woodcreek at the right time seeing as Woodcreek is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Union Mine, they will take on Foresthill at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
