In what's become a running theme this season, the California Grizzlies gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over Dublin. Winning may never get old, but California sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Lauren Yee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. It was the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Chu, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
California is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Dublin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. California will take on the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Carondelet is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Dublin, they will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dougherty Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 618th, while the Gaels are ranked 273rd).
