After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wellington, Timnath was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Mountain View Mountain Lions 13-1. Considering the Cubs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Lily Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Miller was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
