The College Park Falcons lost against the Acalanes Dons back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. College Park had to suffer through a rough 64-31 loss at the hands of the Dons. College Park has not had much luck with the Dons recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sabrina Strode, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Ochoa, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
College Park has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Acalanes, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. College Park will take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Las Lomas is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Acalanes, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. Northgate will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Dons are ranked 27th).
