Mineola is the MaxPreps Texas High School Football Player of the Week.
In a 42-27 win over Mount Vernon, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior carried 28 times for 266 yards and four touchdowns while slinging it for
another 165 yards and a score.

DeSoto: Senior quarterback completed 14 of 24 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-35 win over Waxahachie.

Dickinson: Senior recorded four tackles, a tackle for loss and a sack while returning two kickoffs for 188 yards and a pair of scores in a 35-14 win over Clear Springs.

Edgar Deluna,
Sonora: Senior carried 14 times for 342 yards and four touchdowns, reeled in a pass for 50 yards and another score, made 15 tackles, two tackles for loss and intercepted two passes in a 53-22 win over Harper.

Carthage: Sophomore ran 20 times for 248 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-14 win over Bullard.

Rockwall: Senior running back carried 15 times for 200 yards and a pair of scores in a 38-22 win over Rockwall-Heath.

Denim Foster,
Dayton: Sophomore completed 8 of 12 passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 201 yards and five more scores in a 56-28 win over Santa Fe.

Sunray: Junior signal caller completed 25 of 30 passes for 410 yards and eight touchdowns in an 81-0 win over Crosbyton.

Hawley: Senior wide receiver caught six passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns while recording eight tackles and three tackles for loss in a 45-0 win over Anson.
