After a string of five wins, Ridgemont's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 79-63 fall against the River Valley Vikings. The Golden Gophers were down 61-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Ridgemont's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for River Valley, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

When Ridgemont and River Valley next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ridgemont will try to stop Ridgedale's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, River Valley will take on Shelby and their three-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
