Upsala/Swanville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed by the Pine River-Backus Tigers at home to the tune of 41-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.
A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Franky Meagher and his top target Jack Primus. Meagher threw for 185 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes while Primus picked up 97 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Primus got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of69 yards.
