For the first time this season, Lincoln will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to square off against the Eagle Rock Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Lincoln sitting on five straight victories and Eagle Rock on four.
Lincoln is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Hollywood last Friday as they made off with a 55-35 win. The Tigers pushed the score to 41-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Sheiks cut but never quite recovered from.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lincoln was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Lincoln, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Pereda, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Eagle Rock really took it to Marshall for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-7 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Barristers are ranked 724th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lincoln better keep an eye on Melion Busano. He was instrumental in Eagle Rock's win, rushing for 107 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 90 receiving yards. Liam Pasten was another key signal caller, throwing for 267 yards and a pair of TDs.

Lincoln was dealt a bruising 46-7 defeat at the hands of Eagle Rock when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
