Screven County's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers with a sharp 18-2 victory. The game marked the Gamecocks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Screven County's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for McIntosh County Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Screven County will square off against Emanuel County Institute at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Gamecocks surely won't give up without a fight.
