If Natomas wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sutter, they should've done a better job of containing Torrence Harter. The Sutter Huskies were the clear victor by a 51-31 margin over the Natomas Nighthawks on Thursday thanks to Harter, who almost dropped a triple-double with 19 points, 16 rebounds, and nine blocks. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 57 times she's played.

Mia Bautista was another key player, putting up six points along with five boards and four steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Natomas' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikilah Mitchell, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrice Hopkins, who had 12 points.

Sutter has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Natomas, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.

Sutter has already played their next matchup, a 47-32 loss against Ripon on the 18th. As for Natomas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-50 victory against Venture Academy on the 17th.
